The new Vokey Spin System is a network of three technologies designed to deliver the right amount of spin from any lie. Individually tuned to the wedge in your hands and the shots you’re playing, SM11 reimagines the path to short game precision. A new “razor-like” surface increases friction and prolonged ball contact, translating to more reliable spin control on greenside shots.

Every groove is now 5% larger by volume, allowing debris to clear easier and retain spin in all weather conditions. Vokey grooves are heat-treated for long-lasting, superior performance.

The raw finish encourages natural rusting, valued by Tour Professionals for producing enhanced feel and increased friction, translating to increased spin rates.

GRINDS:

• F – Full-swing forgiveness
  The F Grind is a full sole suited for full wedge shots. This traditional sole is built to provide forgiveness and confidence from the fairway and around the greens.
• M – Multi-purpose shot making
  The M Grind, Bob Vokey’s favourite, is designed for players who rotate the face to manufacture greenside shots. This grind provides the ideal balance for players seeking bounce and versatility into and around greens.
• S – Square-faced shots
  The S Grind features a full sole that has been narrowed by a trailing edge grind, giving it a faster feel through the turf. This grind provides versatility in a variety of conditions for players who like to control loft with their hands ahead or behind the ball.
• D – Divot control
  The D Grind is built for players with steeper swings, seeking forgiveness and greenside versatility. A forward bounce angle protects players from softer, grainier conditions while opening the face lowers the leading edge for added greenside versatility and confidence.
• K – Keeps the sole moving through turf and sand
  The K Grind provides a wide, full sole with enhanced camber to provide added forgiveness from the sand and variable turf conditions. The high-bounce 12 K grind reduces digging in soft bunkers and turf conditions while the low-bounce 06 K grind delivers forgiveness off tighter, firmer lies.
• T – Tight lies and firm conditions
  The T Grind is perfect for players seeking low bounce for more greenside versatility. This grind hugs the ground with maximum heel, toe, and trailing edge relief—providing ultimate shot making ability for golfers who play in firm conditions.

TOUR PERFORMANCE GRINDS:

• L – protection from excessive digging, works well in firm conditions
  A narrower low bounce grind with heel, toe, and trailing edge relief. Works well in firmer conditions. Wider sole than a T Grind but narrower than the M Grind.
• A – Quick feel through the turf, ideal in tight, firm conditions.Low bounce wedge originated from an L Grind with smoothed out grind edges. Resulting in a quick feel through the turf. Works well in tight, firm, conditions.
• K* - More open face shots and reduced digging, ideal for firm to neutral conditions.
  Originated from a .06 K Grind with trailing and heel relief which allows for more open face shots and leading-edge grind to reduce digging on fuller square face shots. Works well in firm to neutral conditions.
• A+ - Mid-bounce with a wide sole, excels in firm to neutral conditions
  Mid bounce wedge originated from an M Grind with smoothed out grind edges. Results in a faster feel through the turf and plays similar to an M Grind with slightly less bounce. Plays well in firm to neutral conditions.
• V – Forgiveness on square shots, open face relief, in neutral to soft conditions.
  Mid/high bounce wedge with heel, toe, and trailing edge relief. Provides increased bounce on square faced shots and enhanced relief for open face shots. Works well in neutral to soft conditions.
• M – Highest lob option, ideal for shot stopping power around the green
  A mid-bounce grind that is exceptionally versatile, with a sole shape that works across many playing conditions. Highest lofted lob wedge option in the Wedge Works lineup. Helpful when needing to stop shots fast from shorter distances and around the green.
